ROAD USE AND PLANNING:

A more equitable road system that is safer for pedestrians, cyclists, and micro-mobility users. Once a leader, Vancouver is falling way behind London, Paris, New York, Montreal and even Quebec City on bike infrastructure.

My vision is to create a safer, people-focused city by developing an Express Bike Network of fully protected bike lanes to allow active transport users safe passage city wide and align with Translinks regional funding opportunities. Key transportation corridors would be upgraded to complete streets with protected bike lanes and dedicated enforced rush-hour bus lanes. Additional improvements include completing missing cycling connections, expanding protected lanes on commercial high streets, and creating more car-free zones in select shopping districts. I also support eliminating right turns on red, phasing out half-signals, adding modal filters on local bikeways, and increasing pedestrian-only areas in dense neighbourhoods.

PUBLIC TRANSIT

Get out of the way of that bus!

Dedicated and enforced rush hour Rapid Bus lanes on all major routes. This is a high priority for me. Road paint and signs are minor expenses and could be defrayed  by Translink. I also support more Skytrain including to UBC

BETTER ABUNDANT HOUSING

Housing for All!

My vision for better, more abundant housing is to allow six-story apartments citywide . City-owned land should be leased for a balanced mix of co-op, social, and strata housing, while spot rezonings become the exception to reduce speculation. Affordable, low-rise wood-frame apartments should be encouraged, and any new towers must meet strong livability standards, including diverse unit sizes, good natural light, outdoor space, community amenities. Heritage-worthy older homes should be preserved, existing multi-unit buildings protected from demolition, and redevelopment should avoid sending reusable materials to landfills. Co-ops should also receive fair lease terms to keep them sustainable and affordable for current and future residents.

ARTS AND CULTURE

Create the conditions where artists can thrive.

My vision is to support arts, culture, and small businesses by creating permanent pedestrian festival zones, protecting theaters and performance spaces, simplifying permits and fees, and encouraging new developments to include spaces for cultural activities.

GREENSPACE

Protect, increase and allow access.

My vision is to expand and protect green spaces across the city by identifying areas where asphalt can be removed for new trees, parklets, and Stormwater management features, especially in neighbourhoods with limited greenery. Development should prioritize preserving mature trees, which provide essential shade, habitat, and air purification. At the same time, public spaces like beaches should remain accessible to everyone, with nightly sweeps replaced by enforcement focused on disruptive behavior, balancing community enjoyment, environmental protection, and safety.

 POLICE

Affordable, compassionate and accountable

My vision is a police department with increased civilian oversight, and a budget that is under control. Let’s improve accountability and make policing safer for everyone.

Adam is a dedicated father and husband, originally from Montréal. After earning his degree in Commerce from Concordia University, his career in organic and natural foods led him to Vancouver in 2006, where he has built both his family and his professional life.

About Adam
Adam’s belief in healthy living and fair-trade practices reflects his vision of a society that values environmental stewardship over profit. A fierce advocate for bike and pedestrian safety, he actively organizes community cycling events and champions investments in active and public transportation. Adam feels most alive while riding along a protected bike route, and he works to make that safe, joyful experience accessible to all.

Beyond transportation, Adam brings hands-on experience in housing. Having built and renovated several homes, he is deeply interested in how Vancouver’s Building Code and zoning policies can be shaped to create abundant, attractive, affordable, and livable housing for residents across the city.

Police Reform and improving access to cultural and public spaces are also important areas of interest for Adam. He supports the performing arts through volunteering at the CULTCH and Pacific Theater and houses visiting actors during the FRINGE Festival.

Beyond his advocacy, Adam and his wife are long-time season ticket holders at the Stanley Theatre. He loves spending time in nature with his family—hiking, cross-country skiing, and trail riding.

“I want Vancouver to be a healthier, greener, safer city that does not leave anyone behind.”
